  • I have been in the Health & Fitness Industry for over 14 years. I am a highly educated and experienced fitness professional. I have worked in a number of different settings and with hundreds of clients with all fitness goals and abilities.
  • After receiving my B.S. in Exercise Science in 2001, I have earned multiple certifications with different Health & Fitness Organizations. Along my journey in 2008, I was introduced to the CHEK Institute in San Diego, CA. Since receiving my Golf Performance Specialist certification, I have earned my Practitioner, Exercise Coach and Holistic Lifestyle Coach certifications through the CHEK Institute. Over the next few years, I will complete all the necessary coursework to become a Master CHEK Practitioner and with more work, a CHEK Faculty Member.
  • Using this knowledge, I coach my clients back into health by educating them on how to live a healthy lifestyle, on proper nutrition and design an exercise program that is tailored to their abilities, limitations and needs. I assess, I don't guess; allowing me to give my exactly what they need to see results. I work with cleints of all ages and abilities and specialize in golf performance training, sport specific training, posture correction and core & lower back training/rehab.
  • I also enjoy public speaking and teaching others how to make simple changes that can improve their health. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with, coaching and watching my children play sports.   • Amy Richardson is a Registered Kinesiologist and graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Movement Science from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She is an American Council on Exercise and a Fitness Ontario Leadership Certified Personal Trainer. She is also certified in Pre/Post Natal Fitness, Kettlebell Athletics, Box Athletics and is a Certified Nutrition Advisor. She is a Certified Cecchetti Council of America ballet teacher, a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP) and a Certified Al Gilbert jazz and tap teacher. Amy has over 17 years of experience as a personal trainer in both the U.S. and Canada. She specializes in areas of pre-surgery and post-rehabilitation training, seniors (including octogenarians and nonagenarians), pre / post natal training and back pathologies. Amy has worked with sport specific areas including dance and hockey. Her hobbies include fitness (of course), theatre, dancing, reading, cooking, baking and wine. She believes in a whole body approach; movement, proper nutrition, hydration and sleep to create your ideal body type.

  • I am a certified personal trainer through The National Personal Training Institute. I have been a certified trainer since 2011. I am also certified in First Aid, CPR and AED.
  • I landed at Coach Me Fit in January of 2012. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. The facility is great and the owners are even better. The trainers here are welcoming and passionate about we do for each and every client.
  • My client's goals are my number one priority. My training style varies from client to client, so I'd say I'm very well rounded and can change my training style whether that's working with a professional soccer player, avid golfer or just a stay at home mom who enjoys the fitness lifestyle.

  • Jason Petersen
  • My name is Jason Peterson and I have been in the health and fitness industry for over 11 years. I have worked in all different types of fitness settings. After graduating with a B.S. in exercise science in 2002 I moved to the metro Detroit area from Mt. Pleasant. I am also certified from the American council on exercise (ACE). Over the past 11 plus years I have worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels helping with weight loss, post rehabilitation, and athletes. In my free time I enjoy watching and playing all sports including playing golf any chance I get! I also enjoy taking my daughter back up north spending time on the lake fishing.

  • Sean Cunningham
  • Sean Cunningham is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is currently studying at Oakland University as a Health Science major. Sean grew up in Troy, Michigan and played soccer as well as other sports throughout his childhood. His club soccer teams included the Gators, Vardar and the Michigan Wolves. Midway through his senior year, Sean decided to follow his dreams, and moved to Norway to peruse a career in professional soccer. He played for almost three seasons there before a series of injuries caused him to put an early end to his career.
  • Since returning home to Michigan, Sean has found a new dream: helping others achieve their athletic as well as lifestyle goals. Sean specializes in youth and adult soccer fitness training and working with athletes of all ages. His experience in professional sports gives him an invaluable knowledge on training methods for maximum performance. He is very eager to make new relationships with great people who once shared similar goals to his own.

CoachMeFit studios are well-equipped, comfortable, and include locker rooms and showers. Each location has cardio and weight machines, free weights, and the latest equipment to enhance your workout and keep it varied. We play music or have the TV on at the client' s request.
